I.RESERVATION PROCESS

1. How to find and book a hotel comunotel.com ?

On the home page, in the search menu on the upper left, please select a destination or a hotel name, the dates of your stay and the number of persons and rooms. Click on ‘BOOK’. For the topics “Deals”, Spa & Wellness”, Tasting & Gastronomy” and “Week-end & Recreation” click on the appropriate tab or choose hotels among the topics on the left. Comunotel has its own direct hotels and some Booking hotels. The reservation process is the same, but when you click on “BOOK”, you will be sent on Booking Website to continue your reservation.

2. Can I book a hotel room by telephone or email ?

Unfortunately, we do not take bookings by telephone or email. But if you need assistance of any sort you can send an email to info@comunotel.com or by clicking on “Contact us” at the bottom of each of our web site page.

3. Are the rates on your website per person or per room ?

All rates for accommodation are per room per stay. However, for the topics “Deals”, Spa & Wellness”, Tasting & Gastronomy” and “Week-end & Recreation”, the rates are indicated per person. When you confirm your reservation, the price is automatically indicated per room. Ex: For two persons, the price indicated on the package section before confirmation will be multiplied by two.

4. Are taxes included in the room rates ?

All the prices indicating are all taxes included.

5. Is breakfast included in the price?

If breakfast is included it will be indicated on the room name in the “Rooms” section. Otherwise the price per person and the type of breakfast is indicated on the overview page of the hotel in the “Facilities” section.

6. Do I pay a reservation fee ?

No COMUNOTEL will not charge you a reservation fee.

7. How do I ask for specific facilities ?

For Comunotel hotels this is possible. You will have the possibility to enter your remark in the appropriate section on step 3 of the reservation process. Your remarks will be transferred to the hotel. The staff will make his best to satisfy your needs. However, we do not guarantee your demand since it is subject to a condition of availability.

8. Is accommodation free for children accompanying parents ?

Accommodation is free for children (usually under 12 years old) in some hotels when they sleep in parent’s room. You can also have extra beds depending on the hotel’s policy and availability. Please check information regarding child policies indicated on the overview page of the hotel in the “Information” section.

9. How do I guarantee my reservation ?

Your credit card details are only required as a guarantee for the hotel in case you do not arrive or cancel too late. This might result in a no-show charge (generally the equivalent to one night's stay) by the hotel. comunotel.com will never charge your credit card, you will pay for your stay at the hotel.

10. Is it safe to fill in my credit card details ?

All the transactions are secured: your personal and credit card details are encrypted. The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology, the most secure technology available. Our SSL certificate has been issued by Thawte. Make the following check by yourself: on page 4 of “reservation” click on the key “Thawte secure site”. A window will appear with the security and record certificate with information on the name of the web site operator and on validity dates of the certificate. BEWARE: if the link’s address does not begin with “https://secure…” you are not in a secured page.

11. What types of credit card can I use to guarantee the reservation?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB and Diners Club are accepted as a guarantee. However, it is possible that the hotel does not accept all of these for payment. Please check at the bottom of the overview page of the hotel in the “Information” section.

II. CONFIRMATION

1. How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?

When you have completed the reservation process, an instant on-screen confirmation will appear. It will show your reservation details as well as your booking number. An email of confirmation is also sent to you. We advise you to print it out so as to have a written proof of your reservation. You will have to present it at the hotel desk and give the booking number whenever you want to contact Comunotel. It is the same process for Booking hotels.

2. I did not receive a confirmation of reservation by email. What do I have to do ?

For Comunotel hotels, please send an email with your booking number and the correct email address by clicking on the section “Contact us” at the bottom of each of our web site page. You will receive another mail of confirmation.

For Booking hotels, a phone number and an email address are at your disposal on your reservation confirmation.

3. Is my reservation rapidly confirmed ?

If your email address is correct, you will receive it within a couple of minutes after validation.

4. When will be my reservation transferred to the hotel ?

As soon as you have confirm your reservation on our web site, an email will be instantly sent to the hotel.

III. CANCELLATION

1. What is the cancellation policy of the hotel ?

You will find the cancellation policy for one particular hotel in the “Room” section, at the end of the rooms list.

2. How can I cancel or change my booking ?

For Comunotel hotels, you can cancel or modify your reservation by sending an email with your booking number at info@comunotel.com by clicking on the section “Contact us” at the bottom of each of our web site page. Before canceling, check the cancellation policy for one particular hotel in the “Room” section, at the end of the rooms list.
